Edinburgh Exotic Care is a pet-sitting service caring for exotic pets in the comfort of their own homes and specialises in supporting exotic owners with regular enclosure maintenance, pet care, and companionship when you are on holiday. EEC’s priority during visits is to maintain proper welfare, following the species routine and providing daily enrichment. Keeping exotic pets in their own environment can help avoid the disruption of travelling or boarding, while allowing them to stay in their own home; the daily husbandry routine will remain consistent.

Drop-in Holiday Care Up to two visits per day to provide required care duties: feeding, water change, misting, health check, lights on and off, enclosure spot-cleans and temperature and humidity checks.

Enclosure Maintenance Aviary cleaning, bioactive enclosure upkeep and small mammal enclosure deep cleaning. Services include thorough substrate replacement and sanitation, removal of debris, deep-clean cycles for non-bioactive enclosures, and regular spot-cleans to maintain hygiene and welfare.

Overnight Care / Pet Sitting Overnight care for pets that require more attention and for large collections. Tailored supervision, feeding, medication administration and environmental monitoring to keep your animals safe and comfortable while you’re away.
